Earlier this week, Jenelle Evans got her tubes tied.
This is objectively a good thing for society.
But as with everything she does, Jenelle had to go and find a way to be annoying about it.
As usual, Jenelle is posting to Instagram nonstop.
These days, however, she's mostly posting about how difficult her post-surgery recovery process has been.
“I’m still crippled, y’all," Jenelle said in an Instagram Story in which she's being pushed around a home repair store in a wheelchair.
As she and David Eason continue to run errands, Jenelle continued to document her infirmity.
"I can’t lift more than 20 pounds for two weeks, so I’m just sitting here while they’re getting the groceries,” she explained.
“I feel helpless.”
As several fans pointed out, Jenelle probably means "useless" rather than helpless, and very few grocery bags or items weigh more than 20 pounds.
So in all likelihood, Jenelle could be of service to those around her, she just chooses not to.
In other words, it's the typical state of affairs.
In a later video that's since been deleted, Jenelle can be seen strolling around her property without the assistance of her wheelchair and carrying daughter Ensley.
Like most 2-year-olds, Ensley weighs more than 20 pounds, so either Jenelle made a miraculous recovery -- or she was exaggerating her condition from the start.
We're gonna go out on a limb and assume it's the latter.
“I decided to get this procedure because I had a really bad problem of irregular bleeding, which lead to ultrasounds then lead to my OBGYN suggesting exploration surgery and tubes being tied,” she toldUs Weekly about her decision to undergo the procedure.
“I knew I was happy with the number of kids I have now.”
Like we said, it's definitely a good thing that Jenelle won't be having any more kids, as she seems to really struggle with raising the ones she has now.
Hell, Evans doesn't even have custody of all her children, and at this point, that doesn't seem to bother her.
And as a bonus, Jenelle being hospitalized and us knowing for a fact that David wasn't involved is a nice change of pace.
Still, it's not hard to see why fans are irritated by Evans' apparent compulsion to exaggerate her ailments.
Obviously, she lies about everything all the time.
But Jenelle's frequent, inaccurate claims that she's suffering from serious medical conditions always seem to rub the most people the wrong way.
