It has reportedly taken a cold-blooded homicide for David Eason to see the truth.
But an insider does tell TMZ that the former Teen Mom 2 star has now acknowledged what the rest of the world has known for years:
He has a very serious anger problem.
Eason, of course, made headlines this week for the most heinous and disgusting of reasons:
He beat his family's dog bloody with his bare hands and then he took this same dog out to the woods and ended the suffering that Eason himself inflicted by shooting him dead.
The violent husband of Jenelle Evans has admitted to this terrible act, sharing a video (below) that he claims is evidence that the dog deserved to die.
Why?
Because he snapped at Eason's young daughter, Ensley.
Based on the footage below, though, it doesn't exactly appear as if Ensley was injured or in any immediate danger.
And yet... Eason murdered the dog.
This is why TMZ has quoted a source who claims Eason "is on the hunt for a program or therapist to administer anger management."
Does he truly think that this is a problem with which he must deal?
Or is Eason just considering it to save his marriage, considering Jenelle has finally confessed that divorce is on the table?
The controversial Teen Mom star is not living at home right now and has at least made the keen/obvious decision to keep her kids away from Eason for a bit.
But she's also made it clear on social media that she isn't sure what to do about her relationship going forward.
Eason is under investigation for animal cruelty after pummeling, and then shooting poor little Nugget.
This same TMZ article alleges that Eason really does recognize that his temper is out of control and that he isn't just considering a psychologist to appease his wife.
Remember, Eason famously got fired from Teen Mom after going on a number of anti-gay rants and then he also famously (infamously) appeared to break Jenelle's collarbone this past October during a drunk altercation.
Evans herself told a 911 operator that her husband assaulted her, although she later made up some weird story about falling into a hole and recanted her accusation against Eason.
And now there's even talk that Evans is going to stay with Eason after all.
SIGH, right?
These two deserve each other.
But Jenelle has three kids and should be thinking of them before and above anything else.
Various outlets have claimed Evans may soon be fired herself from MTV because producers are realizing that they really cannot associate themselves any longer with anyone who has any connection to Eason whatsoever.
The guy is a ticking time bomb.
Worse than that, even: He's a bomb who continues to go off in all the worst ways.
This is what he said about reports of his dog murder were made public:
I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face...whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that sh*t at all. I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission.
