In the wake of the announcement, there's been much talk about what's next for Jenelle.
Meanwhile, Jenelle herself has remained uncharacteristically quiet.
The situation has prompted many to speculate that she knows something we don't.

1. Jenelle on the Land
Following the news that her husband, David Eason, shot and killed the family dog, fans demanded that MTV cut ties with the entire family.
2. Forgive and Get Fired
Jenelle very briefly separated from David, but she was back living on the Land just a few days later.
3. The Campaign
Petitions were circulated; sponsors withdrew their advertising dollars, and eventually, MTV made the announcement Teen Mom 2 fans have been waiting for.
4. Farewell, Easons
“MTV ended its relationship with David Eason over a year ago in February 2018 and has not filmed any new episodes of Teen Mom 2 with him since,” a spokesperson for the network said.
5. Bye, Jenelle
“Additionally, we have stopped filming with Jenelle Eason as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season," the statement concluded.
6. Not So Fast?
It seemed like a done deal, but now, there's reason to believe that MTV may have left itself some wiggle room in that statement.
