Earlier today, we reported on the sad state of Jenelle Evans' finances.
As you've likely heard by now Evans was fired from Teen Mom 2 last week, and it looks as though she won't be making her way back onto television anytime soon.
Jenelle wasn't exactly a fan favorite to begin with, but remaining with her violent, bigoted husband even after David Eason shot and killed the family dog?
Yeah, that ought to be the nail in the coffin of her career as a public figure.
Of course, Jenelle isn't the first member of her household to be canned by MTV.
David was fired last year after hurling homophobic slurs at Instagram users who urged him to show a modicum of sensitivity toward families of the Parkland school shooting victims.
In what turned out to be her final season on TM2, Jenelle spent most of her screentime defending David.
She claimed he was a loving and attentive father despite a growing pile of evidence to the contrary.
She also insisted that while he seemed to have an endless amount of time on his hands, David was actually gainfully employed.
Evans is sticking to her guns on a lot of her lies, but at least she finally admitted that one is total BS.
In a newly-released interview for Bonnie Fuller's Hollywood Life podcast, Jenelle comes clean about David's lack of earning ability:
“Right now, he’s being basically a stay-at-home dad,” Jenelle says.
“He has an underwater cleaning business, scuba diving and cleans boats but since it’s been the wintertime and cold he has to put that off.”
Evans goes on to say that it's all good, however, as her 30-year-old husband performs a lot of chores around the house.
“He helps me build whatever I want,” Jenelle says.
“Even though he doesn’t have a job, he does have a job at home basically. He’s a lot of help with the kids.”
That would be a pretty lame excuse for an extended period of unemployment in any situation, but it's particularly weak in Jenelle's case, as we know exactly how David spent his free time -- shooting guns, hanging in the "she shed," and making terrorist threats online.
These two document pretty much every second of their lives on social media.
If David was spending a lot of time teaching his kids valuable life lessons, you know damn well he would have documented it on Instagram.
Jenelle's interview with Fuller was filmed several weeks before David destroyed his wife's career by murdering her dog -- and it's a real doozy.
Without irony, Evans actually offers tips on how to have a healthy relationship like hers.
We know everyone has different standards, but we're pretty sure pet murdering doesn't fit into anyone's vision of a happy partnership.
