As you've likely heard by now, former Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has spent the past month in the throes of a continually-worsening downward spiral.
And as with every bad thing that's happened to Jenelle in the past four years, David Eason has played a central role in the devastation.
Evans' current woes began when David shot and killed her dog, an 11-pound French bulldog with the menacing moniker of Nugget.
David claimed he felt the dog was a threat to his family's safety, but it seems increasingly evident that David is a violent psychopath hellbent on destroying everything his wife holds dear.
The shocking act of Nugget-cide led to a CPS investigation, which in turn led to Jenelle and David losing custody of the three kids who were still permitted to live with the couple on the property they obnoxiously dubbed "The Land."
It's important to note that it's David, not Jenelle, who's under CPS investigation.
Which means she could dramatically improve her chances of regaining custody simply by kicking his ass to the curb.
But for reasons that defy logic and the central tenets of human decency, Jenelle refuses to do so.
And as usual, she's wasting energy fuming at the haters, instead of focusing like a laser on the best way to create a safe environment for her displaced children.
“Jenelle’s aware that people are saying she needs to leave David to get her kids back, but she does not believe that’s true,” a source close to Evans tells Hollywood Life.
“She’s determined right now to get them back with David by her side," the insider adds.
"She doesn’t want to have to make that choice and is praying she won’t have to.”
Folks, this might be the absolute height of laziness.
Jenelle has never held a real job; she appears to spend most of her time killing brain cells in her "she shed," and now, she won't even make a decision for the sake of her kids.
The source says that part of the reason for Evans' reluctance is that David has been her primary source of support during her recent struggles.
“[Jenelle] has been through so much in her life and stayed strong, but if she loses her kids that will be too much for her to take,” the tipster claims.
“She’s getting hit from all sides and it’s very overwhelming. Jenelle is in the eye of the hurricane right now.”
Jenelle is aware that David is directly responsible for all the problems that are causing her to need his support, right?
This is like if you got shot, and then the shooter drove you to the hospital.
You don't owe that person your loyalty.
Especially if bringing your shooter to court with you is costing you custody of your freakin' kids!
We kinda fumbled the metaphor at the end there, but you get the idea.
