On Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 23, Leah Messer-Calvert and Corey Simms struggled with co-parenting, and they were far from alone in that department.
Meanwhile, Jenelle Evans welcomed the newest member of the MTV family! Follow the link to watch Teen Mom 2 online, then join us for our recap ...
As Leah and Corey's custody fight for their twins heats up, she is doing her best to stay in control of her emotions as she tries to gain the upper hand.
Both sides seem to really care about the girls and raising them to the best of their ability, and both are now remarried to people who have their backs.
What's said is that this should all make co-parenting easier, not harder, but both are also stubborn and digging in, believing their opinions are justified.
After taking with wife Miranda Patterson, Mr. Subtitles Corey met with his lawyer to strategize about how to make him the primary parent of the twins.
Leah's lawyer told her that Corey wants full custody, that Leah would only get them on weekends, and that she and Jeremy would have to pay support.
Is that his real motivation in all of this? Whatever it is, her attorney lit a fire under Leah and Jeremy, and it looks like they are gearing up for a fight.
Down in North Carolina, Jenelle Evans and Nathan Griffith welcomed the birth of Kaiser, bringing much needed joy to Teen Mom 2 Season 5 Episode 23.
Beautiful baby Kaiser is Jenelle's second son but the couple's first child together; Nathan already has a daughter from a previous relationship, as well.
Neither have custody of their previous offspring.
Jenelle's water broke around 6 a.m. one day in late June, and by early that afternoon she had given birth to her bundle of love. Intense, but magical.
It was touching when Barbara Evans, Jenelle's mom, brought five-year-old Jace over to see the baby, and even Babs seemed impressed at their co-parenting.
Kailyn Lowry said goodbye to Isaac, whom she let Jo Rivera take for six weeks of summer visitation. With Isaac gone, Kailyn decided to go back to school.
The reality star warned us she was going to lose it after dropping him off, and she didn't even wait that long. She had a total breakdown over this.
It's not surprising, because even when things are amicable and civil with Jo, she's still going to worry about how things are going to be for little Isaac.
The parents agreed that it's tough for Isaac to be going back and forth between their places. There's no end in sight, of course, but they're aware of it.
Chelsea Houska's issues with Adam Lind and his ex-girlfriend Taylor Halbur have been well documented. Last week, Taylor even had some interview time.
(Adam Lind is in jail again, by the way. Surprised?)
In this episode, Chelsea feared that Taylor got too involved with Aubree, Chelsea and Adam's daughter, but Halbur felt she was only trying to help.
Taylor's take on the situation is that she just wanted to develop some bond with Chelsea Houska for the sake of Aubree and Adam's daughter, Paislee.
Not the worst idea in theory, but one's idea of a "modern family" does not appeal to everyone. Especially if it involves that miscreant Adam Lind.
Who, along with Taylor, showed up to another one of Aubree's softball games, which frustrated Chelsea. Maybe he'll stay locked up for awhile at least.
