Say what you will about Jenelle Evans (and there's an awful lot to say), but the Teen Mom trainwreck actually seems to be focused on getting her act together these days.
Sure, Jenelle was arrested last month, but that was for driving without a license, which is probably the least serious offense that she's been locked up for over the years.
And yes, the cops were called to Jenelle's house earlier this month, but it was her fiance, Nathan Griffith, who was taken into custody, not Jenelle.
Look, the girl has set the bar pretty low over the years and progress is progress, so when we hear that Jenelle is off drugs and looking for a job, well...by Jenelle standards, that's cause for celebration.
As Jenelle pointed out during her recent Twitter feud with Amber Portwood, she's currently finishing up a degree that would allow her to work as a surgical technician's assistant and apparently, the program requires her to complete an internship.
The internship for which she applied requires a drug test, and normally, we'd say that means trouble for Jenelle, but remarkably, it seems that the mother of two is now capable of producing clean urine.
"Jenelle took the drug test and passed with flying colors," a source tells Radar Online. "She knew she was going to pass and she wasn't worried at all.
"Jenelle wants to get a real job, and she's taking everything so seriously right now so that she can make a good impression by showing how she would be a good employee."
Wow. Jenelle taking things seriously? We never thought we'd see the day. Hey, at this rate, she might end up regaining custody of her first son.
