Even though Jenelle Evans is done with Nathan Griffith, it seems that she's trying to make it an amicable split (by Jenelle standards) by not having the dude shipped off to prison.
Radar Online is reporting that the domestic violence charges against Griffith have been dropped, and the 27-year-old will not face any legal repercussions from his March 5 arrest.
“All the charges against Nathan Griffith were dropped in court today,” said Amy Lawrence, an attorney for Jenelle.
Lawrence was careful to state that the charges were dropped and not that Jenelle dropped them, so as not to imply that Evans had changed her tune.
In a he-said, she-said case such as this with no witnesses, however, it seems unlikely that Nathan would be let off unless Jenelle asked the judge for leniency.
Several weeks ago, Griffith reportedly confided to a friend recently that he expected Jenelle would "ask to dismiss" the charges against him.
Of course, this doesn't mean all is well with the troubled Teen Mom couple.
Sources say Jenelle still has a restraining order against Griffith, though she's reportedly looking into having it lifted.
But even though this is Jenelle were talking about, we're hoping that she has the sense to not try and reconcile with Griffith just because they're no longer legally obligated to keep their distance from one another.
