This has very possibly been the craziest season yet for Jenelle, Kailyn, Chelsea and Leah, and Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Episode 7 was no exception.
Let's break down all the reasons why in our recap...
Leah Messer's ongoing marital struggles with Jeremy Calvert were about to hit a breaking point. But she told a friend she tries to keep it together:
“I can’t ever get down because I have three kids that need me. We see each other for 12 hours every week - have sex, go to sleep, then he leaves.”
Later, Leah was finally served with divorce papers in a grocery store. Not long after that, she admitted that she has experienced suicidal thoughts:
“I feel like I’ve been pushed to an edge where I could care less whether I’m here or not. And that’s not okay. I don’t care about myself."
"I’ve really been thinking about going away for a while to get some intense therapy. I would come back and be a brand new person."
"I’ve never taken time for myself before. I got pregnant at 16, had twins, one with a disability. Do I regret getting pregnant so young?"
"Absolutely. But I would never take that back. I wouldn’t have done anything different with Jeremy. That’s where I wanted to be."
We've seen her first husband Corey Simms slam Leah over and over again for what a mess she is, out of genuine concern for her.
Surely, he was happy she reached this decision. Would Jeremy feel the same way, and would it influence the future of their marriage?
Leah told Jeremy her new plan, and he was very proud and supportive ... but crystal clear that the divorce was still gonna happen.
Meanwhile, we finally got to see Nathan Griffith arrested for domestic abuse following one of his many fights with Jenelle Evans.
He was adamant that he didn't do anything, yelling, “Jenelle, you know I didn’t do anything! Please, Jenelle can you tell them?"
Jenelle, stoic, just stood and watched. The charges were later dropped (this was March), but at the time, they were royally pissed off.
If you watch Teen Mom 2 online, or read any celebrity gossip, you know these two are mercurial when it comes to their relationship.
When Nathan confirmed that he had been talking to another girl lately and demanded his engagement ring back, she lost her s--t.
The former Marine then removed the diamond from Jenelle’s finger, which she claimed happened while he was also choking her.
“It was just blown out of proportion,” Nathan later told one of his friends. “I never intentionally hurt her. I wasn’t trying to hurt her."
"But somehow, somewhere the cops got called," he says, insisting again that "I was just trying to get the ring off of her finger."
"I’m pretty sure if I was beating the s--t out of her or wrestling around, it would have been a lot worse than a scratch on her pinky.”
In the end, “I couldn’t leave Jenelle,” he said. “I love her too much. I love our life too much. Our hearts are in sync. I just f--ked up.”
We'll see about that, but in the mid-Altantic states, Kailyn Lowry's ex Jo Rivera learned that he and Vee Torres are expecting! OMG!
“I’m going to be throwing mad mood swings at you, and you’re just going to have to catch them and run with them,” Vee joked to Jo.
Vee hinted at some issues with the plan to relocate to Delaware, saying it's "not how she imagined" being pregnant away from family.
When Jo broke the news to Isaac, his son with Kailyn, he didn't seem all that enthusiastic (given how it went with Kailyn, we get it).
As for Kailyn and Javi Marroquin, the intensely feuding pair seemed chill this week - maybe even happy to be spending life together.
Finally, Chelsea Houska and Adam Lind were getting ready to square off in court, as the deadbeat actually tried to win custody.
Speaking with her family, Chelsea expressed some of her main concerns - a list that could have taken her hours to fully elaborate on:
“I’ve done everything. I’ve sacrificed. He’s just about to get off probation. He won’t have an ankle monitor keeping him from drinking.”
Ultimately, and sagely, the judge ruled that Adam would not get joint custody and his parents would still have to supervise their visits.
Moreover, while in court ... Adam was arrested for being behind on child support for his other daughter Paislee (with Taylor Halbur).
Though Chelsea was happy to win, she was still so sad: “I just wish she had a good dad. Someone there, someone who cares.”
Fortunately, it looks like Cole may be up to the task ...
