Tension continued between Corey and Leah on Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Episode 9, while Jenelle and Nathan faced their share of struggles as well.

Meanwhile, Kailyn and Javi adjusted to Jo and Vee moving in so close to them, and Chelsea celebrated Aubree's preschool graduation. Let's recap ...

Picking up where last week left off, Teen Mom 2 Season 6 Episode 9 saw Leah Messer head to rehab and her twin girls move in with Corey Simms.

Leah’s mom Dawn, as she drops off the little girls, informs Simms that she will be taking the children to visit Leah in treatment for Mother’s Day.

She won't tell her former son-in-law where she's being treated, however, and Corey says he’s not comfortable not knowing where his kids will be.

Tensions escalate when Leah's mom tells her daughter about this, and after a phone call with her lawyer, she gets on a plane and returns home!

Messer feared that Simms might “file for abandonment” and get temporary full custody of the girls if she didn't race back to settle this in court.

“I’m going to get home, get my babies secured and nothing at all, or anybody, is going to stop me from coming back here and getting therapy,” Leah says.

Those who saw Leah pass out sitting up and holding a baby last week know there is cause for concern, and Simms is more worried than anyone.

Speaking to his father, Corey says he's upset with Leah's mom for meddling in this and insists his goal is only to protect the girls, not hurt Leah.

He also reiterates his belief that Leah Messer's drug problem is real, despite her refusal to say those words and calling her rehab "therapy."

In any case, Leah and Corey's lawyers are able to reach a deal, and she will resume treatment, ending this chapter (somewhat) amicably.

Down in Pennsylvania, Kailyn Lowry is happy that her baby daddy, Jo Rivera, is now living so close to their son Isaac ... and yet not really.

Yes, she wants Isaac and Jo to be on great terms with Jo and his (pregnant) girlfriend Vee Torres, but she doesn’t want to “befriend them.”

It's not an easy tightrope to walk. When Jo comes over to talk about finances, her husband Javi Marroquin is upset that he's in their home.

"I don't want him at my house, point blank," Javi snaps, in contrast to the previous signs of his mini-bromance with Jo that we've seen.

It could be worse, though. They could be Chelsea Houska and Adam Lind, who is furious she didn't invite him to Aubree's graduation.

The Housk says this is ridiculous, she told him long ago. She's just happy that her new man, Cole De Boer, is “responsible and mature.”

“I think she is definitely starting to see the difference between a dad like Cole and a dad like Adam,” Chelsea says of her boyfriend.

Adam does show up for the event, at least, but with Cole wanting to move in and Aubs wanting to call him "dad," well, that says it all.

Last but not least, Nathan Griffith and Jenelle Evans are at it again ... standard procedure as you know if you watch Teen Mom 2 online.

This week was brutal as ever, as he reveals that he's dating someone else and doesn’t want to get back with the Carolina Hurricane.

He says his romance with Jenelle is "toxic" and that she "brings out the worst" in him, while his new girl is just "making it a lot easier."

Safe to say they are not on the same page. Evans, who was recently arrested for throwing a glass at Nathan's girlfriend, breaks down:

"I have not touched another man's skin for two f--king years ... I can't stop having panic attacks. I can't get you out of my head."

After days of ignored calls, she's weirdly followed by Nathan on the road. She picks up, and he tells her to call if when wants to see Kai.
